Spin‐flip transition strength of 12C(γ,π+)12B

2008
Energy distributions of π+ emitted from 12C(e,e′π+)12B reaction have been measured at ϑ =30°, 60°, 90° with the electron beam of Ee=195 MeV. The result is used to deduce the spin‐flip transition strength between the ground state of 12C and the residual states of 12B. Such obtained strength is compared with the theory and is found in agreement with the generalized Helm model.
