Aparelho celular: risco de infecções hospitalares durante jornada de trabalho de profissionais da saúde

2021
Objective: To discuss measures to prevent antisepsis in cell phones constantly used in surgical units and to associate adherence to strict hand hygiene protocols in restricted hospital environments. Methods: This is an exploratory, descriptive, narrative review of the literature, for data collection, the virtual research libraries were used: Google Scholar, Advensad Biomedical Research, Saber digital, Hospital Santa Cruz (HSC). Results: In the results of this research, 12 scientific articles, 2 electronic journals and 1 decree of law were used, which pointed out that the telephone device is a resource that is habitually and daily used by everyone, it can also present itself as a bridge that links the transmission of bacteria infections in hospital environments. In addition, this technology becomes a vehicle for infectious microorganisms, and its use during the provision of health care can increase the incidence rate of nosocomial infections. Final considerations Therefore, implement hygiene protocols for cell phones and follow continuing education measures adopting new work methodologies, thus ensuring patient safety.
