Virus del papiloma humano tipo 31 en la enfermedad de Bowen pigmentada extragenital

Bowen' s disease is a carcinoma in situ. Different factors have been implied in its pathogenesis, recently HPV infections. Among the virus, serotype 16 is the most frequent. Our patient is a 36-year-old man, HIV+, in stage B2, with extragenital pigmented Bowen's disease. Polymerase chain reaction for HPV was done with positive results for serotype 31.
