The purification of plutonium by a thenoyltrifluoro-acetone (T.T.A.) process

The extraction of plutonium by T.T.A. in the presence of impurities is discussed, and data are presented for the extraction of uranium, zirconium, ruthenium, iron, and chromium. A block flow-sheet for the purification of 1 g. of plutonium from 10 g. of uranium and one curie of zirconium is given.
