In this paper, the digital image analysis was applied to study the dimensions and characteristics of the agglutination of erythrocyte linked by lectins obtained from Fabaceas's family that exist in our region. The ASP (Agglutination Shape Parameter) for the agglutinates was determined. This parameter allows us to characterize and evaluate the agglutination degree. The evidence obtained could be useful as a parameter for the lectins quality control. Thus, the present study provides important information about the use of these lectins as hemoclassificator reagents in the Inmunohematology laboratory. I.
