Changes of contents of intracellular and extracellular polysaccharides from the mycelium of Lyophyllum decastes with submerged fermentation

2011
Dynamic changes of mycelium and the content of intracellular and extracellular polysaccharides from the mycelium of Lyophyllum decastes during submerged fermentation were studied. The results showed that L.decastes mycelia biomass and the content of intracellular polysaccharides in the early 11d(p0.01) during the 13d fermentation at 25℃ was significantly positive correlated with fermentation time. The mycelia biomass of L.decastes and the content of intracellular polysaccharides reached the highest values of 11.96mg/ml and 1.58mg/ml,which was about 7 times and 12 times as before fermentation, respectively. The content of extracellular polysaccharides and reducing sugar in the early 3d and 12d fermentation was significantly negative correlated with fermentation time, respectively. The content of extracellular polysaccharides and reducing sugar content were at the lowest values of 0.046mg/ml and 0.132mg/ml,which was about 4% and 16% before fermentation, respectively. The results indicated that 11 d was the optimum fermentation time for high mycelia biomass and intracellular polysaccharide content of L.decastes obtain.
