Study on curved compound eye imaging system

Two kinds of curved compound eye image systems were studied.It is the first time that a curved field lens array was introduced into the curved compound eye image system to improve the image quality of the marginal Field of View(FOV) and enlarge the FOV.The model of a image system was designed and the ray trace was completed based the software LIGHTTOOLS.The FOVs of the two systems are 60° and 88°;the volume are 0.9 mm×0.9 mm×0.5 mm and 0.9 mm×0.9 mm×0.75 mm,respectively.The lithography technique to fabricate the curved microlens array on the curved substrate by using laser direct writing system was also given.
