Analysis on Surveillance of Viral Diarrhea,Jinan City,2011

[Objective]To understand the epidemiological and etiological characteristics of viral diarrhea in Jinan city,so as to provide the scientific basis for prevention and control strategies.[Methods]Data on the surveillance results of viral diarrhea in Jinan city,2011 were analyzed by descriptive epidemiology.[Results]In the 96 surveillance cases,the total positive rate was 39.58%,the group A of rotavirus positive rate was 28.13%,the norovirus positive rate was 13.54%.The positive rate was lower in September than in October;and was higher in the city than in the suburb(P0.05);the sex positive rate of male and female was 1.34:1,the positive rate of 0-12 months of children was the highest(53.33%).The main clinical symptoms were urgent cases,diarrhea,vomiting,abdominal pain and fever.[Conclusion]Infants are the high-risk groups of rotavirus and norovirus infection in autumn,attention should be paid attention to mixed infection.
