Dinitrotoluene hydrogenation nickel-strontium bimetallic catalyst and preparation method thereof

2015
The invention provides a dinitrotoluene hydrogenation nickel-strontium bimetallic catalyst and a preparation method thereof. The catalyst comprises strontium, nickel and a carrier. The composition expression of the catalyst is x%Ni-y%Sr/carrier, wherein in the expression, x% refers to the mass percent of Ni in the catalyst, y% refers to the mass percent of Sr in the catalyst, and the catalyst comprises, by mass, 30-60% of Ni, 1-10% of Sr and the balance the carrier. A catalyst precursor is prepared through the dipping-precipitation method, then the catalyst precursor is reduced at the hydrogen-containing atmosphere, and accordingly the dinitrotoluene hydrogenation nickel-strontium bimetallic catalyst is obtained. Dispersibility of the active component nickel on the surface of the carrier is well improved by adding metal strontium. The catalyst has the outstanding advantages of being high in conversion rate and selectivity, good in catalytic stability and the like.
