PRIMJENA DRVETA U GRAĐEVINARSTVU

This paper describes the use of wood as a material in the construction industry. It elaborates on the types of wood from which various wood products are obtained that are further used in the construction industry. Furthermore, the paper briefly explains the structure and composition of wood and its more important properties. The second part of this paper explains how wood drying is performed and focuses on wood products and timber. Finally, the paper describes methods of wood application as a material for obtaining individual elements of high-rise construction.
