유아의 상상적 내러티브에 나타난 의도(Intention)의 탐색

2015
The purpose of this study was to help you understand specifically and meaningfully children’s intention in the fantasy narrative by looking deep into their intention, stories and characters. This study sampled 24 five-year-old children in the Tree class of the kindergarten affiliated with W elementary school located in Y gu, Seoul as the subjects for study. This study was conducted from June 16th to July 18th, 2013. During this period, contents of fantasy narrative and various data to conduct this study were gathered. The method of data gathering was participant observation and conversation and other data collection. While staying in the kindergarten for participant observation, I wrote a field diary and interviewed each child, their parents and teachers. In addition, I referred to life record and anecdotal records such as proposals and daily plan, and collected children’s works which is related to fantasy narrative such as articles, pictures, works and so on. The collected data were organized, divided and analyzed through the three stages of interpretation. The results of this study were as follows. First, children have three different intentions which are ‘taking advantage of knowledge of story’, ‘expressing the experience’, ‘revealing the mind’. Second, characters’ intention in children’s stories were ‘intention to forge relationships’, ‘intention to reflect the moral values’.
