Abstract : A popularized article concerning the development of several new drugs at the Institute of Pharmacology and Chemotherapy. Included are: 'chloroatsizne', for the treatment of stenocardia and infarct of the myocardium and which does not lower the arterial pressure; 'trimecain', an anesthetic which is effective for periods up to 48 hours.
