Inseticidas no controle de larvas de mosca da espécie Cochliomyia hominivorax (Coquerel)

It was tested four insecticide’s formulas based on Pyrethrum and organophosphoric compounds, in the larvae control of  Cochliomyia hominivorax  fly, in natural and artificial infestations. The compounds of the formulas were: formula A) Permethrin = 2.76% (W/W), Ethion = 4.54%.(W/W), Cloranfenicol = 0.20% and gentian violet = 0.20%; formula B) Permethrin = 1.38% (W/W), Ethion = 4.54% (W/W), Cloranfenicol = 0.20% and gentian violet = 0.20%; formula C) Permethrin = 0.69% (W/W), Ethion 4.54% (W/W), Cloranfenicol = 0.20% and gentian violet = 0.20%; formula D) Permethrin = 138% (W/W), Ethion = 2.27%(W/W), Cloranfenicol = 0.20% and gentian violet = 0.20%. All the formulas showed high efficacy.
