Method of manufacturing light antireflection article

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a light antireflection article improving a streaky defect 3 caused by strings of internal air bubbles G numerously aligned in one direction, inside an antireflection layer having a light antireflection structure composed of numerous minute projections.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a light antireflection article comprises: a process of forming a resin liquid layer by applying resin liquid for forming an antireflection layer to one surface of a transparent substrate; and a process of filling the inside of a recessed part of a molding die with a portion of the resin liquid layer by binging the surface of the resin liquid layer formed on the transparent substrate into contact with the rotating cylindrical molding die by a pressure roller. In the process of filling the inside of the recessed part of the molding die with the portion of the resin liquid layer, the rotation angle of the pressure roller from contact of the surface of the resin liquid layer formed on the transparent substrate with the pressure roller to contact with the molding die by changing its travel direction while being wound around the pressure roller and held by a portion of a circumferential surface of the pressure roller is within a range between 20-40°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
