KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS BIOGRAFI (CERITA ULANG) PADA SISWA KELAS XI SEMESTER GENAP SMA AL-AZHAR 3 BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2018/2019

The purpose of this study is that students are able to write poetry based on the genre of poppada in the eleventh grade students of SMA AL-AZHAR 3 in Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2018/2019. The problem examined in this study is to write biographical texts on class XI SMA AL-AZHAR 3 Bandar Lampung in 2018/2019. The indicators studied include content, sentences, spelling and punctuation. The purpose of this study is for students to be able to write biographical texts. This study will use descriptive quantitative methods. The subject of this study was the even semester XI graders of SMA AL-AZHAR 3 Bandar Lampung in 2018/2019. The main techniques used in collecting research data are assignments or tests for writing biographical texts. Students will choose a character first here there is a choice of teacher or hero, then students write it according to the character that students choose. That students still find it difficult to write biographical texts so students must be guided and noticed. This can be seen from several biographical texts of students partially said to be lacking in writing biographical texts. In addition, the contents of the students' biographical texts are also considered to be in accordance with the figures who are already prepared, according to the indicators specified in terms of content, sentences, spelling and punctuation. If appropriate, students are said to have understood in writing biographical texts.
