The effect of combination of Tungsten phosphate and epirubicin on inhibiting K562 cell proliferation
2014
Objective To probe the effect and its mechanism of low concentration of K6[P2W18O62]·14H2O on epirubicin inhibiting cell proliferation of K562. Methods K562 cell was cultured in vitro and processed in different concentration K6[P2W18O62]·14H2O and epirubicin. The cell proliferation was detected by WST-1 reduction method. The epirubicin relative amount intracellular and reactive oxygen species value were detected by flow cytometry. Results The combination index of K6[P2W18O62]·14H2O( 15 μmol /L) and epirubicin( 2. 5 μmol /L,5 μmol /L and 10 μmol /L) was 1. 62 and 1. 29,respectively. Conclusion Tungsten phosphate could promote epirubicin into cells and reduce the active oxygen levels intracellular. Tungsten phosphate can get into cells through epirubicin and has effect of synergistic antitumor.
