HLA-DRhi and CCR9 Define a Pro-Inflammatory Monocyte Subset in IBD

OBJECTIVES: It has been demonstrated that circulating monocytes relocate to the intestinal mucosa during intestinal inflammation, but the phenotype and inflammatory mechanisms of these monocytes remain poorly understood.
