Investigation of variable gravitational gradients and specific features of the microseismic background with a torsion balance

This paper is an attempt at a brief description of the problem of measuring the gravitation field characteristics, namely, the first and second derivatives of the gravitation potential. The logics of the description required to outline the range of associated problems of fundamental physics and geophysics, which must and can be solved through measurements with a torsion balance.
