Studies on the catalytic characters of lipase from Pencillium expansum

The catalytic characters of lipase from Penicillium expansum were studied. They included the optimun pH and temperature, the stability for pH and heat, the specificity of ester bond position for hydrolyzation and catalysis on the reverse reaction. The mechanism of catalysis for this lipase was discussed.
