The opto-electronic device (1) comprises an electronic chip (2) provided with an emitting source (2a) configured to emit electromagnetic radiation, said chip (2) having an emitting face (3) of said electromagnetic radiation. Said device comprises a conversion layer (4) comprising conversion elements (5) configured to convert at least a portion of the electromagnetic radiation as it is emitted by the emitting source (2a). The conversion layer (4) comprises a grid (6) defining openings (7) grid, said grid (6) being arranged to be opposite to the emitting face, and a material (8) comprising the elements of conversion (5), said material (8) being present in said openings (7) grid.
