Organizaciones y reconfiguración del territorio en la zona metropolitana de Xalapa

The aim of this paper is to analyse the participation of organizations in the reconfiguration processes of territories, emanating from social struggles and the proposal of political alternatives. The role of institutionalization processes, collaboration networks and reciprocity in the strengthening of organizations is also reviewed, for all of them contribute to the creation and consolidation of interaction dynamics amongst social organizations with convening power at the local level in the Xalapa Metropolitan Area, in the state of Veracruz, Mexico.
