A Simple Cannula Localizer of Working Electrode in Capillary Electrophoresis

Using two fixed cannula as the localizer of working electrode,a complete docking of the ports of working elec-trode and electrophoretic capillary can be performed by just oppositely inserting the working electrode and electrophoretic capillary into the fixed cannula,and keeping them slightly contact in the middle of cannula.The cannula is made of fused silica capillary with inner diameter of 400 μm,and was placed and fixed in accurate linear collimation with 3 mm apart.The working electrode is made of another fused silica capillary with outer diameter of 375 μm and inner diameter of 200 μm.The electrophoretic reaction capillary was chose with the outer diameter of 375 μm and inner diameter as needed of 20 ~ 100 μm.The method possesses the advantages of simple operation,high work efficiency,accurate loca-tion of working electrode,and good reproducibility of detection.This fabrication scheme is superior to part of the present modes of detection cell of three-dimensional adjustment or screw adjustment.
