Clinical Boundary Issues with Sexually Addicted Clients

This chapter focuses on how boundary violation issues are often in the forefront in the treatment of sex addiction. Practical interventions for dealing with boundary issues are discussed. Case examples are utilized to illustrate common boundary transgressions against clinicians and how those can result in productive therapeutic interactions. Strategies are suggested for clinicians to continue to address and assess boundary issues in session.
