Follow-up Study of Thoracolumbar Burst Fractures

This paper is based on a study of 14 acute thoracolumbar burst fractures.All the patients were neurologically intact and were treated conservatively.The cases were divided into two types according to the site of involved end-plates (Type A: fracture of both end-plates; Type B: fracture of the superior or the inferior end-plate). None of the patients developed neurologic problems and we obtained good results in these cases.
