Cascaded distributed AOI defect detection system and detection method thereof

The invention provides a cascaded distributed AOI defect detection system used for defect detection of LCD screens of a production line. The detection system comprises a plurality of detection units, a data synchronization unit, a first result processing unit, and a second result processing unit; the plurality of detection units are cascaded; each detection unit of the plurality of detection units is used for detecting the defect of the LCD screen and transmitting a detection result to the data synchronization unit; if the detection result is unqualified, the LCD screen is processed by the first result processing unit, and otherwise, the LCD screen is processed by the second result processing unit; the data synchronization unit is used for receiving the detection result and realizing data sharing between the plurality of detection units; the first result processing unit is used for processing the LCD screens with the unqualified detection results; and the second result processing unit is used for processing the LCD screens with the qualified detection results. According to the system, the AOI defect detection system is divided into the plurality of detection units, the complexity of the overall system is reduced, the coupling of various detection defects is reduced, and individual upgrade and debugging of each detection unit can be facilitated.
