A Novel Model of Corrected Key Navigational Parameters of Ship AIS based on CCRP

2020
In order to solve the uncertainty of ship AIS position, a more scientific and accurate ship position can be obtained, and then the navigational parameters such as distance between vessels, true bearing, DCPA and TCPA can be calculated using this ship position. The concept of ship position correction coefficient was proposed, and a CCRP based ship navigational parameters correction model was established. The model is applied to different situations, and the significance of the test results is illustrated by the risk of ship collision. The research results reveal that the model can improve the scientificity and accuracy of the above four navigational parameters on the basis of solving the uncertainty of ship position, and the research lays a scientific and accurate foundation for maritime authorities to monitor the traffic in the sea area.
