Effects of altered antigen processing on H-2Dk mediated NK inhibition in a murine T lymphoma model.

1998
MHC class I molecules, upon recognition by NK cell receptors, may inactivate NK cytolytic responses. In humans, Ig-like NK cell receptors show peptide specificity. However, in the mouse system, mainly C-type lectin-like receptors were found thus far, for which peptides are solely important to maintain the appropriate conformation of MHC class I molecules.
