Digital governance assessment from the conceptualization of information infrastructures

2020
Digital governance is related to the electronic enabling of government activities, for example: management of democratic activity; ensuring fairness and transparency in decision-making in public institutions; among others. The object of this article is to propose an assessment of digital governance based on the conceptualization of information infrastructure (II). Examples of II include the internet; e-commerce; and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). To support this analysis, the literature review and the framework for studying the tensions of the installed base, and how they influence the establishment of an II will be adopted [1]. As future studies it is proposed an investigation of the approaches presented in digital governance practices in developed countries as in developing countries.
