Research on Recognition Method of Neutron-Gamma Single Pulse Pileup Based on Mathematical Morphology

In this study, the open operation of mathematical morphology of neutron-gamma pulse data with complex structural elements is proposed, and the pileup discrimination is carried out according to the maximum amplitude after the open operation. For single pulse signals, the method proposed in this paper can effectively reduce the occurrence of misidentification events of pulse pileup.
