System and process for producing titanium tetrachloride

The invention provides a system and a process for producing titanium tetrachloride. The process comprises the following steps: orderly passing a mixed gas containing titanium tetrachloride through a delivery pipe, a gas-solid settling device, an aluminum trichloride solidifying device and a gas-liquid separator, obtaining a product gas from the product gas outlet of the gas-liquid separator, and accurately controlling the temperatures of a main gas flow at various stages by spraying a low-temperature titanium tetrachloride circulating liquid to the delivery pipe, the gas-solid settling device and the main flow gas before going into the gas-liquid separator, thereby removing impurities in the mixed gas stage by stage. The system and the process are especially applicable to large-scale titanium tetrachloride production industry, and also are capable of effectively reducing the production energy consumption, reducing the emissions of waste materials and avoiding pollution on the environment due to the emissions, and increasing the yield of titanium resources.
