Dispersion stability requirements of the nanostructured magnetic liquid

The dispersion stability requirements were analyzed through considering the deposition and agglomeration of the magnetic particles in a nanostructured magnetic liquid.The influence of the sizes of the magnetic particles on their deposition under external fields was discussed.Three kinds of interaction forces and their potential energies and the net potential energy were employed to study the agglomeration of the magnetic particles qualitatively and quantitatively.Numerical calculations show that the agglomeration can be eliminated by increasing the thickness of the surfactant.
