Diagnostic value of high frequency ultrasound for muscle sports injury caused by military training

2011
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of high frequency ultrasound for muscle sports injury caused by by military training. Methods 68 patients with muscle injury caused by military training were recruited as research subjects.PHILIPS HDI5000 color Doppler ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus made by the United States, high frequency probe L12-5,and frequency of 5~12 MHz were used.Patients took the appropriate position. The parts of lesions were scanned in vertical, horizontal and multiple directions. Color Doppler flow imaging was used to observe the internal blood flow. Results Complete muscular rupture with hematoma was detected in 15 cases, with an ultrasound diagnostic accordance rate of 100%.Partial rupture with hematoma was observed in 21 cases, with an ultrasound diagnostic accordance rate of 91.30%.Ordinary muscle damage was found in 28 cases, with a 93.33%detection rate of the initial ultrasound, and a 100%detection rate of referral examination. Conclusions High - frequency ultrasound on muscle damage caused by military training is of high diagnostic accuracy and application value in clinical practice.
