Introduction to Antithrombin
2011
Antithrombin Ⅲ,also called heparin cofactor,is one of the most important physiologic serine trypsin inhibitors in plasma blood clotting syst-em.A group of anticoagulant reagents were secreted from salivary glands of mosquitoes in the course of Blood sucking. The anticoagulant reagents not only interfere with clotting reaction and inflammatory reactions of the host but also were a group of potential pharmacological substances. This article reviewed advance of studies on antithrombin and antithrombin of the mosquito separation purification, cloning and expression, activity determination and antithrombin drug, thus providing antithrombin indepth study of reference.
