Heats of adsorption of some organic compounds on β-cyclodextrin determined by gas–solid chromatography

1999
Abstract Isosteric adsorptive enthalpies have been derived from the temperature dependence of retention volumes determined by eluted pulse gas–solid chromatography. The heat data were obtained for systems using more than 20 organic liquids as adsorbates, and β-cyclodextrin as adsorbent. The experimental results have been discussed in the light of intermolecular force between molecules of adsorbate and adsorbent.
