Avaliação de pré-escolares: um enfoque sobre os diagnósticos de enfermagem

Objective: to evaluate the child development and do a profile survey of nursing diagnosis according to NANDA-I among preschoolers of an early childhood education center. Method: a cross-sectional, descriptive-exploratory study with a quantitative approach, held from October 2015 to April 2016, in a early childhood education center located in the urban area from the city of Redencao-Ce. Data were compiled in Excel software and analyzed using SPSS version 20.0. Results: one hundred and ten children were evaluated. In the fine motor assessments 93,63% were able to perform the tests completely, on the coarse motor 96,36%, personal-social 90% and language 86,36% according to each age group presented. Eighteen nursing diagnosis were identified (average of 4,5 for each child), twenty defining characteristics (average of 3,4 for each child) and forty related factors (average of 6,5 for each child). Nursing diagnosis with greater proportion, above the 75th percentile, were: risk of falling (100%) and poor recreation activity (100%). Conclusion: the development of preschoolers was satisfactory, since most tests have obtained positive results. The main diagnoses presented by preschoolers were related to the safety of the school environment, hygiene problems related to the child himself, socioeconomic condition and education of children's families.
