Controlled nucleation of chrysoberyl crystals in a flux system

Ways for controlling spontaneous nucleation and further growth of chrysoberyl crystals in flux systems are proposed. The nucleation and growth are shown to be controlled by the rate of mass transport, which is fully determined by the dissolution-zone temperature.
