Dose-Response Relationships in Growth Hormone Therapy

1986
Although human growth hormone (hGH) has been administered to GH-deficient patients for 25 years(1) there are few published data on the relationship of dose to response. This chapter will review the dose-response information that is available and will attempt to make recommendations regarding the dosage and dose schedule of hGH to be used during an initial year of treatment in GH-deficient patients.
