The term of globalization in the economic and management aspects, its manifestation forms and tendencies at the turn of the century

In this article the term of globalization, its esse nce in economic and management aspects and the main manifestation forms and tendencies in the world and Lithuania are analyzed. The aim of this article ‐ t he systematization of explanation of the term of globalization and its essence, the determination of the main tendencies of globalization in the world and substantiation of globalization specificity in Lith uania. In this article the development of globalization process and term is presented. Also the essence of globalization in economic management aspect is presented by discussing about globalization in the chronological manner; the main reasons of globalization motivation and tendencies in the worl d and Lithuania are discussed.
