NPL-NS: a ''Next Step'' experiment for inertial confinement fusion

The Nuclear-Pumped Laser ''Next Step'' (NPL-NS) Experiment is a near term fusion experiment designed to: (1) provide a 1 MJ pellet irradiation test facility and (2) demonstrate the feasibility of the NPL-Feedback-Fusion concept.
