Analyzing power measurement for the reaction p↘+d→3He+mm

We present the first measurement of the analyzing powers for the reaction p↘+d−3He+mm. The measurement was performed at 3° (lab), with an 800 MeV transversely polarized proton beam. The range of missing mass (mm) spanned by our measurement includes the ABC anomaly. Analyzing powers in this region are observed to be small.
