Imaging analysis of renal tuberculosis on 101 cases

Objectives To study the diagnostic technique of imaging for advanced renal tuberculosis.Methods Retrospectively analysis and compare the IVP,B-ultrasonography and CT findings of 101 patients with advanced renal tuberculosis. Results Lumbodynia, frequency, odynuria, urgency, and hematuria were the most common symptoms,and their rates were 65% ,41% ,35% ,30% ,and 22% respectively. The accuracy of dignosis in IVP , B-ultrasonography and CT were :69. 1% ,46.6 % ,and 89.8% respectively. Conclusions B -ultrasonography can not be regarded as a specific examination for advanced renal tuberculosis, but it can show the abnormality of advanced renal tuberculosis. CT plays crucial role in the dignosis of advanced renal tuberculosis. Key words: Tuberculosis;  Renal
