The invention relates to a method for treating and recycling leachate in a garbage transfer station. According to the method, a majority of organic pollutants are removed by anaerobic treatment, biodegradability of the leachate is improved by electrocatalytic oxidation, and biochemical process is reinforced in an aerobic membrane biological reactor (MBR) by the interception of membranes on microorganisms, so the biodegradation of main pollutants is finished and the quality of effluent water is ensured. The method comprises the following steps: (1) allowing the leachate generated by compressing garbage to enter a water storage well, and lifting the leachate to a regulating tank by using a lifting pump; (2) after anaerobic digestion, allowing the leachate to enter a primary MBR to undergo aerobic reaction; (3) allowing the effluent water from the primary MBR to flow to an electrocatalytic oxidation tower to undergo electrocatalytic oxidation; (4) after the biodegradability is improved, allowing the leachate to enter a secondary MBR to undergo aerobic biochemical reaction to finish the degradation of organisms and ammonia nitrogen.
