철도차량 상태기반 유지보수체계 추진전략

Railway vehicles should ensure passenger safety and high service quality as a mass transportation, and require lots of maintenance expenses which has reached hundreds of billions of Won per year. In order to improve their safety and availability, and to reduce the maintenance costs as well, various improvement plans for the existing maintenance system has been tried so far. This paper presents the basic direction and strategy for CBM, that is, condition based maintenance, to be applied to rolling stocks, and every activities of life cycle based CBM. Once the condition based technology is successfully applied to railway vehicles, safety, service reliability and the availability shall be improved and total life cycle cost is expected to be reduced.
