BEHAVIOR OF IMMUNIZING HEMOAGGLUTININS IN PATIENTS SUFFERING FROM MALIGNANT NEOPLASMS AND SUBJECTED TO RADIATION THERAPY

1961
After a brief mention of the nature and genesis of immunizing hemoagglutinins, the authors report the percent values determined on the serum of patients suffering from neoplasms and the variations observed after radiation therapy. A fall of the percent values of the immunizing agglutinins is demonstrated at the end of radiation therapy, a fall which appears to be influenced more by the size of the body surface irradiated than by the dose administered or the anatomical site.
