SB11 Helsinki world sustainable building conference

The 6th World Sustainable Building (SB) Conference1, took place in Helsinki from 18th to 21st October 2011 organized by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and RIL (Finnish Association of Civil Engineers). SB11 Helsinki addressed new opportunities for improving quality of life, mitigating the effects of climate change and making new business. President Tarja Halonen acted as benefactor of this outstanding event. In Helsinki it was announced that the next World Sustainable Building Conference will be held in Barcelona in October 2014.
