Effect of water stress on induced-protein expression of wheat seedling and suspension culture cell

Wheat seeding and suspension culture cell of FengKang 8 are different in the soluble protein content and protein composition under water stress (-1.0 MPa PEG6000).Soluble protein content in seedling was higher than that in CK,and it decreased with the process of water stress.Soluble protein content in suspension culture cell were lower than that in CK.The results of SDS PAGE electrophoresis and scans indicated that seedlings of FengKang 8 produced 44.2 kD new subunit under water stress,and the subunit percent content increased with the time of treatment.After rewatering,the 44.2 kD protein disappeared.Suspension culture cell of FengKang 8 expressed 44.2 kD protein in the normal conditions,and it ascended in light water stress.With the time of treatment,44.2 kD protein content decreased,but it increased again after rewatering.
