657PSECOND- AND THIRD-LINE CHEMOTHERAPY IN ADVANCED GASTRIC CANCER: A REAL-LIFE CLINICAL PICTURE

2014
Chemotherapy (cht) is the mainstay of palliative treatment for metastatic or unresectable gastric cancer. Nevertheless, almost all patients (pts) will develop disease progression (PD) after 1st-line treatment. The role of subsequent salvage cht is not well established, especially outside of clinical trials. The aim of this retrospective study was to explore the efficacy and safety of palliative cht beyond 1stline PD in routine clinical practice, while assessing the significance of several prognostic factors.
