Study of Analgesic and Anti-Inflammatory Effect of Chrysanthemum Indicum Supercritical CO2 Extraction

2016
OBJECTIVE To analyze the activation of analgesic and anti-inflammatory of Chrysanthemum indicum supercritical CO2extraction( SCFE). METHODS The analgesic effect of SCFE was observed by writhing test and hot plate test in mice; antiinflammatory effect was investigated by increased capillary permeability induced by acetic acid and carrageenan-induced paw edema in mice. RESULTS In the writhing test and hot plate test,SCFE significantly reduced the writhing times in 15 min, enhanced the pain threshold; in the increased capillary permeability induced by acetic acid model,it reduced capillary permeability; in the carrageenaninduced paw edema model in mice,SCFE had obvious inhibited effect on the paw edema in mice. CONCLUSION SCFE has significant analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
