Investigation on assembling behavior of dodecanethiol SAMs on copper surface based on multifractal spectrum

The assembling behavior of dodecanethiol SAMs on copper surface was investigated by potentiodynamic polarization and AFM phase image measurements.The AFM phase images were analyzed through multifractal spectrum.The results indicated that dodecanethiol SAMs had obvious inhibition effect on copper corrosion in sodium chloride solution,and the inhibition efficiency increased with the assembling time.The assembling progress could be observed through the analysis of AFM phase images based on multifractal spectrum.
