Cytotoxic activity of neo-clerodane diterpenoids

Abstract Several neo -clerodane diterpenoids isolated from extracts of roots and aerial parts of Linaria saxatilis var. glutinosa , as well as some semisynthetic derivatives, exhibited in vitro growth inhibition against different neoplastic cell cultures. A number of substances showed IC 50 values under 1μM.
